St. Andrew's has been serving its neighborhood, the City of Parkersburg, the Mid-Ohio Valley and beyond for over 100 years. Since 2016, the church's dedicated team has been hosting the Recovery Point luncheon on Wednesdays, offering the residents unconditional love and homemade meals. On January 1, 2026, St. Andrew's UMC and Parkview UMC officially merged together to advance the ministry of caring the needy, retaining the name St. Andrew's for its long history of outreach in the community. The name St. Andrew's was chosen because he "first found his brother Simon Peter... and brought him to the Lord" (The Gospel of John 1:41-42).
